The 2024 Tasmanian Tourism Showcase Lucky Door Prize winners have been announced! The major prize was a $1,000 Accommodation Voucher with Younique Stays, who provide unparalleled holiday experiences on Tasmania’s breathtaking East Coast. Our lucky major prize winner was Michelle; congratulations!! Three runner-up prizes, consisting of a $250 voucher to use with any exhibitor from the 2024 Tasmanian Tourism Showcase. The winners are Lauren Cornish, Sarina Dutton, and Holly Pedersen, congratulations. Daniel Gibson won a $50 voucher for The Kiln, a beautifully restored original Oast House located in the Huon Valley, a short 30-minute drive from Hobart. Two lucky families will head to Amaze Richmond with a Family Pass to enjoy all-day entry and access to the mazes and facilities. The winners are Scott Doran-Sargent and Erin Davis-Schnierer.

Performances at this year’s event
Thanks to the Festival of Voices, we have two pop-up choirs performing at the 2024 Tasmanian Tourism Showcase. ThylaSing will take to the stage at 11:00am, followed by Sing Australia Hobart at 2:00pm.
This year’s Tourism Showcase will expand to a state-wide focus and include a consumer-focused day. It will bring together Tasmanian tourism operators and the community to showcase the variety of products and the regions in which they operate.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement.
As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
