Toffeemont alpacas is a small boutique Huacaya alpaca farm situated on the sunny south east coast of Tasmania. Currently home to approx 90 alpacas. Byron and Janelle were introduced to the wonderful world of alpacas approx 18yrs ago and found their passion. Together they have achieved many goals over the years and reached each milestone with vigour, passion, fun and focus. Over the years they have diversified from a private alpaca stud breeding farm to Tasmania’s premier Agritourism accredited alpaca farm business. They pride there selves on providing the ultimate alpaca immersive experience with educational tours, picnics and treks. They believe in, and support the growing alpaca industry by striving to produce premium alpaca fibre for processing and focusing on layered breeding strategies and diversifying genetics to create optimal quality fibre and frame. Their fibre is used to create stunning paddock to garment luxury items from their herd and can be found at their on farm shop.
Our tour is uniquely Tasmanian and the only Accredited tourism working alpaca farm in Tasmania. Toffeemont is also Tasmania's most successful alpaca farm winning multiple ribbons across Australia.
Toffeemont provide husbandry and shearing services for over 250 clients across Tasmania and support all alpaca owners with education, advice and other support services.
