Business Description

Cruising down the iconic Gordon River in The Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park is an experience like no other, a ‘must do’ when visiting Tasmania. One of the most scenic and sought after cruises in the world, and cruising with the locals is as authentic as it gets. We have a bit of experience on the waterways around here, our family have been cruising around this area for over 125 years, it is fair to say this place is in our blood.

World Heritage Cruises was established in 1996 at Strahan on the rugged west coast of Tasmania. Cruise with us on the RED Boat, Harbour Master II, into the Last, truly unique World Heritage Wilderness. Join our daily cruise as we navigate through spectacular scenery, including Macquarie Harbour, Hells Gates, Sarah Island, and the tranquil Gordon River. Hear tales passed down by six generations of our family who have lived and worked in this remote, wild landscape for over 128 years. The cruise Includes a guided walk on Sarah Island the ex-convict settlement, a board walk through the ancient rainforest on the Gordon River and a delicious meal of Tasmanian produce. Our aim is for your guests to sit back, relax and enjoy a day they will long remember.
