Hobart, Tasmania – The 2025 Tasmanian Tourism Showcase will shine a spotlight on opportunity and innovation with a dedicated Industry and Student Day on Friday 25 July at Princes Wharf 1, nipaluna / Hobart. Designed to support the development of Tasmania’s dynamic tourism sector, this exclusive event will foster collaboration, ignite career pathways, and build momentum for a sustainable future.
Event Highlights
The day begins with the Student Futures Expo, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, offering students and early-career professionals an inspiring introduction to the tourism and hospitality industries. Led by the Tasmanian Hospitality Association (THA), the expo will include interactive demonstrations, industry insights, and opportunities to connect with employers, training providers and tourism leaders from across the state. Advance registration is encouraged for easy entry.
From 1:00 pm, the event transitions into the Visitor Economy Stakeholder Showcase, welcoming invited guests from Tourism Tasmania, Tourism Australia, Brand Tasmania, and the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT), alongside representatives from major hotels, airlines, and media. This high-level session offers a valuable platform for sharing ideas, forging partnerships, and exploring opportunities to grow and sustain Tasmania’s visitor economy.
The day concludes with an evening networking function—an informal and engaging opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and continue the conversation about Tasmania’s tourism future.
